Foundation News
On October the 20th, Foundation students visited Bundoora farm. As part of our Integrated Studies curriculum topic, students have been learning about living and non-living things, and what the needs of livings things are. Students were able to engage in hands on activities such as: tractor rides, touching, feeding and patting the animals. They also made their own delicious scones for afternoon tea! Students explored the garden, composting and planting their very own snow peas, which we will be monitoring the growth for in class over the coming weeks. Throughout the day students were thoroughly engaged in all of interactive activities and a great day was had by all! We would like to kindly thank all of our wonderful parent helpers who attended on the day to support our students’ learning.
